Compositing Professional
Compositing gets serious
Taking your first steps into the world of CG as a junior compositor can be the most exciting and daunting time of your life.
Working alongside experienced compositors who have been part of the industry for a long time can feel like an intimidating task. Our tutors understand that the key to becoming a confident artist is to be prepared and know exactly what’s expected of you. That’s why we have developed our 18 week Compositing Professional Course, for artists who want to jump straight into a Junior Compositing position establishing themselves as a serious artist right from the offset. The Compositing Professional Course will take you through the same 12 weeks of study as our Compositing for Production course with an added six weeks of advanced subjects including Stereoscopic. There is a dedicated project week where you will be able to fine tune your showreel to establish yourself as the perfect candidate for your first compositing job in the industry.

Competition for compositing jobs is very high and I knew I was going to need some professional training if I was going to make it at all. That’s when I found Escape. What really drew me to Escape was that you were taught by VFX professionals and the courses were focused on teaching you the right skills to get a job straight away. I just worked on Danny Boyle’s latest feature 127 Hours – it doesn’t get much better than that.
