V-Ray for Max

Our V-Ray for 3ds Max course has been designed so you can master this complex rendering system and remain competitive in this tough climate. At over 11 hours long, this course will teach you the concepts, tools and workflows used by pros on a daily basis when producing professional high quality work and will cement your understanding of lighting, materials and rendering principles.

Once you’re competent using the interface, we’ll begin by systematically introducing many of V-Ray’s features, either individually or combined, but always with the aid of scenes specifically designed to demonstrate that feature. Topics will include lighting engines, texturing your scenes with the V-Ray materials, object properties, various geometry types and environmental lens effects. Finally the more technical areas within V-Ray such as unified dmc sampler will be discussed, enabling you to tackle many different rendering situations by understanding how to balance quality against speed.

The course will finish with three production level case studies where everything you’ve learned will be put into practice.
