ZBrush for 3D Artists
Master ZBrush
Our ZBrush training is designed for professionals and amateurs alike. It's a valuable companion to our other 3D courses and will help you generate work that stands out from the crowd – a crucial advantage in a competitive job market.
The course contains an in-depth look at Pixologic's ZBrush from the ground up, for ZBrush 3.5 and ZBrush 4 R1 (This courseware does not cover the new features included in R2). It covers ZBrush for use in different industry sectors workflows, a games and broadcast/film pipeline. With over two hundred videos and 28 hours of training, there is a huge amount of information covered.
You’ll get to grips with the ZBrush engine, and will become capable of importing and manipulating meshes. You also learn to Work with multiple subTools, polygroups, transpose, ZPlugins and more advanced subTool work flows. After working with existing models you will create your own base meshes with, ZSpheres, ZSketch and Shadow Box, as well as GoZ for automatic transfer and modification of meshes between ZBrush and other 3D software.
Once you’re comfortable with these techniques you will spend time learning to sculpt, including organic and hard surface objects, specialised brushes and brush settings.
After modelling, you will be introduced to a variety of ways for dealing with millions of polygons to create intricate and believable detail. Finally, you will move onto looking at displacement mapping, including the 32 bit displacement pipeline, the 16bit displacement pipeline and lighting/rendering techniques in Maya.
By the end of the course you’ll be able to create, sculpt, texture and just as importantly export these high quality models for use in a real time engine or other 3D software.

CreativeBlokeThis is easily the best Zbrush intro online course I have used. The non-personality driven nature of the lessons, let you deal with ‘learning’ Zbrush as a full app to be integrated into your workflow, rather than learning it for one specific task, which a lot of the other Zbrush learning tools suffer from.
